Father Kevin Rai leads Marian Mornings on first Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Elizabeth Parish in Pflugerville. The morning includes Mass, a teaching, prayer time, silence and time for the sacrament of reconciliation.

St. John Neumann Parish in Austin hosts a Mass for Vocations at 8:45 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

Join us for a women's day of reflection in which we reflect upon the unique role women have in the church. For this Day of Reflection, we will be reflecting upon being created for heaven.

St. Jerome Parish in Waco will host its second annual Mayfest on the parish grounds. Activities include arts and crafts vendors, live music, games for all ages and a live and a silent auction. The Knights of Columbus and Society of St. Vincent de Paul will work together to provide brisket and sausage plates ($15/adult and $8 for children 12 and under). The day will conclude with a Procession of Mary at 4:10 p.m. Participants will pray the rosary as they process through the St. Jerome campus. All are welcome!

The DCCS Committee meets quarterly to assess the needs of our Catholic Scouting population and to plan age-appropriate events to foster a deeper appreciation of our faith. In addition, the committee sponsors adult training for religious emblem counselor roles. A Filipino Mass is celebrated on the first Saturday of the month at 4 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Austin. Fellowship follows right after the Mass at the Parish Activity Center. It’s a potluck dinner, so please bring a dish to share. Come and join us and meet your kababayan!

This Gabriel Project Angel Training will take place at Catholic Charities of Central Texas in Waco. The Gabriel Project is a parish-based ministry within the Diocese of Austin that serves pregnant mothers and fathers and their children. Gabriel Angels serve as mentors and companions by walking with mothers and fathers through pregnancy and the early parenting years. Angels offer spiritual and emotional care, as well as help in accessing needed resources and services.

With praise and thanksgiving, the Diocese of Austin celebrates the ordination of Andrew Scott Fyall, Michael Lawrence Noriega, Kingsley Chisom Ohaeri, Michael Jeffrey Rhodes and Hudson Ladd Spears to the Order of the Diaconate by Most Reverend Joe S. Vásquez, Bishop of Austin, at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Austin. God willing these men will be ordained to the priesthood in June 2025.

Worship at the Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt on Saturday, May 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. The evening is full of singing, readings, and petitions to the Holy Spirit. A Webinar for Survivors and Those Who Care for Them | Forgiveness is something that brings up many different emotions for those who have been harmed through clergy or non-clergy sexual abuse. In this presentation we will attempt to define forgiveness and discuss the act of forgiving as done by an injured party to an offender. We will also discuss that when we forgive ourselves it is in light of the fact that we acted unjustly. Hopefully we will come to understand that damaged parties can be further injured by misplaced guilt and shame. It is most often true that victims need to be healed rather than be granted forgiveness.
