If you've ever faced traumas, hurtful relationships, or bruising adversity and wondered "Where is God?" in that, then consider attending this workshop: it offers a way to receive God's healing of those wounds
through reflective writing. Led by Spiritual Director, healing prayer minister, and former writing instructor Deacon Dan Lupo, PhD, we will spend five consecutive Mondays writing "spiritual reflections" to reveal Jesus' healing presence.
We will review insights from James Pennebaker's "Writing to Heal" and Elizabeth Andrew's "Writing the Sacred Journey" (you're encouraged but not required to purchase these books). Then, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will write our reflections, and together find God offering his healing presence in each experience. Required for each class is something to write on/with (paper/pen, laptop, or a blank journal/notebook). Also, if you keep a journal, bring it. More info or questions:
deacondanlupo@yahoo.com.
