On April 24, 2026, Most Reverend Daniel E. Garcia, Bishop of Austin, promulgated amendments to the Code of Particular Law for the Diocese of Austin. These changes, effective June 1, 2026, address areas of diocesan operations and ministry. The bishop consulted with the Presbyteral Council, Finance Council, clergy, and laity.
