October 10, World Mental Health Day, marks the beginning of the National Mental Health Novena, an opportunity for all the People of God to join together in prayer for women and men experiencing or impacted by mental health issues and for all those who accompany them (U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops).
The Novena ends on October 18, the feast of Saint Luke, patron of health care.
October 11 is National Mental Health Sunday, an invitation to pause and reflect on healing and hope around mental health in our local parish community (U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops). Learn more: usccb.org/mental-health-sunday
