Praying with Voice, Mind and Heart

The Mercy of God Prayer Center at St. Thomas More Parish in Austin will host Praying with Voice, Mind, and Heart Day Retreat on Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. (8:30 a.m. check-in & light breakfast), at the Life House on the St. Thomas More Campus.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church describes three main modes of prayer: vocal, meditative, and contemplative. In this retreat, Deacon Dan Lupo will explore these prayer forms with participants and help them experience their fruits using the Rosary, Lectio Divina, and Eucharistic Adoration as examples of each.
