Our prayers are with Annunciation Catholic School, Minneapolis

With deep sadness and fraternal concern for the families and staff of Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis at the news of today’s shooting, I ask that each of us across the Diocese of Austin meet our brothers and sisters of Annunciation School in our thoughts and prayers today, and in the coming weeks.  May God shower upon them his goodness and grace at this moment of uncertainty and may Our Lady of the Annunciation be present to the children, families, and staff with a mother’s loving assurance.  Let us pray for all students recently returning to a new school year, that God will ensure their safety as they grow in wisdom and holiness.
