In union with the U.S. Bishops' consecration of our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Fr. Tom Reitmeyer, Vicar General, celebrated the 12:05 p.m. Mass on June 12 at St. Mary Cathedral on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

During the Mass, we also prayed the Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (USCCB).

With praise and thanksgiving, the Diocese of Austin celebrated the ordination of Deacons Solomon Akpan, Christopher Haberberger, Cameron Kologinczak, Brian McNaughton, and Isaiah Minke to the Sacred Order of Priesthood by Most Reverend Daniel E. Garcia, Bishop of Austin, on June 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. William Parish in Round Rock.

With Praise and Thanksgiving, the Diocese of Austin celebrated the Ordination of Livinus Tamakara Idag and W. Luke Parlow to the Order of the Diaconate by Most Reverend Daniel E. Garcia, Bishop of Austin, at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Austin.


God willing, these men will be ordained to the priesthood in 2027.
