A Listening Session on the Family

  As a Synodal Church, one that is seeking to listen to the voices of the faithful, Bishop Garcia is asking us to participate in a survey in preparation for the bishop's meeting on “Ten Years After Amoris Laætitia: Proclaiming the Gospel with Families Today” in Rome, October 7–14, 2026. To better understand the insights of the people of God in Central Texas, this survey is meant to gather your thoughts on family life today.
- Along with other dioceses in North America and beyond, we are being invited to reflect on the reality of family life today. Your honest experience, joys and struggles, will help form the voice our bishop brings to that gathering.
  
  There are no right or wrong answers. You do not need to answer every question in every section — please respond to whatever speaks most to your family's experience. All responses will be deposited into one secured portal and will be gathered into a summary report representing the Diocese of Austin.
