The mission of the Diocese of Austin’s Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) program is to help protect people from abuse and unethical behavior through education, action, and reporting, and to listen to and learn from those who have experienced abuse in order to provide healing. Do you want to volunteer and are new to the EIM process? Are you returning to ministry and already have an EIM account? SUBJECT: EIM training due/past due

    Hello,
Thank you for your willingness to serve in ministry in the Diocese of Austin. It is time for you to UPDATE YOUR EIM TRAINING. Please login to your EIM account in VIRTUS.org; you will find the online training module under Current Training. The refresher is about 70 minutes long and can be done at your own pace. As a reminder, without a current background check and/or current training (both within 3 years) one is in-eligible to serve in ministry in the diocese.
General EIM instructions and information can be found at www.austindiocese.org/eim-instructions. If you are having trouble logging in to your EIM account, please contact [email protected]. If you have a personal experience of abuse and prefer an alternate workshop option, please email [email protected] for 1on1 training information and options.
Thank you for your commitment to helping keep children and other vulnerable persons safe from harm.
