Join us for a great week of faith, family, adventure and fun, at the Scouting in the Catholic Church Conference at the Philmont Training Center near Cimarron, New Mexico. The conference is July 12-18, 2026. There is no better place to experience the beauty of God’s creation and make new friends than at Philmont! Is God calling you?
The course is a GREAT way to learn more about Catholic Scouting and how these programs can impact your Scouts and help them grow in their faith journey to Christ!
Facilitating this course will be experienced volunteers and pastors active with the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. https://nccs-bsa.org/
Whether you are a youth minister and new to the opportunities available for young people through Scouting OR you are a new or experienced Scout leader yearning to learn more about Catholic programs, the Scouting in the Catholic Church Conference is for you.
Youth ministers, clergy, Scout leaders, families—all are welcome to come for a faith-filled, informative and fun week. A course highlight will be learning to incorporate into Catholic Scouting the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) document “Listen, Teach, Send”. https://www.usccb.org/listen-teach-send
Mass is available daily and Philmont offers many additional activities for your enjoyment. Looking for a “family” experience? Bring your family and sign them up for their own adventures during the week.
