Rev. Kingsley Chisom O'haeri was
Kingsley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Imo State University, Owerri, and later worked at Saint Joseph Major Seminary, Ikot Ekpene, where living among priests and seminarians awakened in him a call to the priesthood. He later pursued studies in the United States, serving as an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist before being accepted into priestly formation for the Diocese of Austin. He studied at St. Joseph Seminary in Louisiana and St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston, Texas.
He was recently ordained a priest of Jesus Christ on June 18, 2025, by Archbishop Joe Vásquez in the Diocese of Austin. Father Kingsley is the first Catholic priest from his family and village in Nigeria and now serves as parochial vicar at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Manor.
