Pastoral Message regarding the verdict and sentence of a priest who served in the diocese

Father Anthony Odiong, a priest of the Diocese of Uyo, Nigeria, who served in this diocese from 2008-2012, was found guilty of sexually assaulting women. Yesterday, the court imposed a sentence of life imprisonment.
