How is Jesus calling you to follow Him? Join The Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary for The Heart of Mary: A Discernment Retreat for Women. The retreat will include time for prayer, spiritual conferences on discernment and vocations, and opportunities to speak with other women discerning their vocation. The retreat is open to single women who are 18-35 years old. The cost of the retreat is $35.

Pray for vocations with us and diocesan faithful at our upcoming Holy Hour for Vocations! Join us April 25 at St. Helen's in Georgetown for a day of spiritual conferences (in English and Spanish), Eucharistic Adoration, and a reception to honor our diocesan priests celebrating Jubilee anniversaries.

Bishop Daniel Garcia will ordain W. Luke Parlow and Livinus Idag to the transitional diaconate May 16 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Austin.

This retreat is designed for young men, ages 18-49, to help you discern your vocation. It is an opportunity to meet many priests from our Diocese, hear their discernment stories, and learn about the priesthood. We’ll also celebrate Mass and spend time in prayer and adoration. The retreat begins at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 20 and will conclude on Friday, May 22 at 12:30. The cost of the retreat is $35.

Join Fr. Greg Gerhart before and after the ordination to learn about the priesthood by reflecting on the promises that the priest makes. You’ll also enjoy breakfast, lunch, get a saved spot at the ordination Mass, and hear from our seminarians. This event is open to single men, ages 14-49, and it is free.

An ordination marks a turning point not only in the life of the new priest, but in all the souls he will spiritually lead, receive, and love. Our Lord has chosen these men from all others to take up this faithful “yes,” and it is our blessing to bear witness to it. Join us in witnessing the gift of the priesthood on June 6th, 2026, as our diocese receives our newest priests at this year’s Presbyteral Ordination at St. William Parish in Round Rock.
