Come experience nature as Saint Francis did, as a reflection of the Creator. Bring your family and enjoy a day in the hill country exploring nature, competing in outdoor activities, earning religious activity patches, and more for our annual Catholic Scouting Family Retreat at Eagle's Wings Retreat Center. Open to all families (scouting involvement not required) and all scouting troops and organizations. The cost is $50 per family or $15 for individual; before July 14, 2026. Youth must be accompanied by a troop leader, parent or adult.

At this Mass, Scouts from Scouts BSA, Girl Scouts, and American Heritage Girls who have earned a religious emblem or award in the previous year.  Eagle Scouts and Gold Award and Stars and Stripes awardees are invited to attend. Adult recognition awards are also awarded at this Mass.

All scouts, scouting families, and scout leaders are invited to join Fr. Jakob Hurlimann and the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting for a 5-mile hike on our journey to be apostles of faith. The day will begin at 10 a.m. from the Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center in Belton. Bring your own lunch and water bottle.
