St. Joseph Catholic School will host a TEFA Information Night on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m. This event is open to the public and is designed to help families learn more about the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program and how it may support their child’s education. We invite families to help us spread the word and encourage those who may be interested to attend. The application period for families seeking a Texas Education Freedom Account will open Feb. 4 and close March 17, 2026.

Presented by the Altar Society, Church of the Visitation | Wendy Staab, Chair of the Austin DCCW Leadership Commission, will address the history and miracles of the Rosary as well as Mary’s messages and promises to those who pray this powerful prayer.

St. Louis Parish in Austin will host a Farewell Mass for Bishop-elect James Misko on Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. A reception will follow. All are welcome to greet Bishop-elect Misko before he leaves Austin for Tucson.

Holy Trinity Parish in Corn Hill will host a BBQ Pork meal with all the trimmings on Sunday, Feb. 1. The meal will be served from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Parish Activity Center. Adults $15 / Children $8. Adult to-go plates available in the drive-thru (11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.). All proceeds benefit the Holy Trinity Cemetery Fund.

St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in College Station hosts a Holy Hour for Vocations on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the main church. All are welcome!

The Knights of Columbus will host the Austin Diocesan Clergy Religious Appreciation Dinner on February 5 at St. Rita Hall at St. Helen Parish in Georgetown. All priests, deacons and religious are invited to attend.

EIM | Hosted by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The purpose of this training is to educate and inform the audience on an overview of Adult Protective Services and reporting requirements. This training covers the basics for reporting through the hotline and online reporting system. The audience will gain a better understanding of legal definitions of abuse, neglect, & financial exploitation, the reporting and investigation process, and the services APS provides when maltreatment has been confirmed.

Father Kevin Rai leads Marian Mornings on first Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Elizabeth Parish in Pflugerville. The morning includes Mass, a teaching, prayer time, silence and time for the sacrament of reconciliation.

St. John Neumann Parish in Austin will host a women's retreat entitled The Gift of Mary and Martha Feb. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Women are invited to come find rest, reflection and renewal and they explore the live of Mary and Martha. Learn more about the gift of balance between stillness and service and listening and doing.

The Consecrated Men and women of the Diocese of Austin are invited to celebrate World Day of Consecrated Life with our Bishop Daniel Garcia on February 7, 2026, at St Mary’s Cathedral.

A Filipino Mass is celebrated on the first Saturday of the month at 4 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Austin. Fellowship follows right after the Mass at the Parish Activity Center. It’s a potluck dinner, so please bring a dish to share. Come and join us and meet your kababayan!

All are invited to make a pilgrimage to The Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt and pray the rosary by candlelight at 7:30 p.m. The rosary will include meditations, songs, and end with a short candlelight procession. Plan to stay afterward for refreshments and social time!

Christ the King Parish in Belton is having their second annual Extravaganza on Feb. 15 at the Family Life Center. The fundraiser is to help reduce the loan for the FLC. There will be prizes such as a fishing trip on Lake Belton, housecleaning, car detailing, an entertainment gift card tree, a few designer purses, luggage and some jewelry. Czech Mass - Vítame Vás na Corn Hill: In February we celebrate the feast day of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, patron saints of the Czech Republic and patron saint of Slavic peoples. In honor of these saints a bi-lingual Czech/English Mass will be celebrated Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. at Holy Trinity Parish in Corn Hill. After Mass, a dinner will be served in the Parish Activity Center. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate this special feast day of Sts. Cyril and Methodius.

Let us prepare our hearts in Lent for the Lord's Easter resurrection by praying the ancient Catholic prayer Lectio Divina. No experience is required – just an open heart and an electronic or physical Bible (ideally the New American Bible, Revised Edition [NABRE]). A Zoom link is available by emailing [email protected]. The 14th annual Central Texas Catholic Men’s Conference will take place Feb. 21, 2026, at Emmaus Parish in Lakeway. Centered on the theme “Heroic Virtues – Justice and Temperance,” the gathering will invite men to embrace the cardinal and theological virtues — faith, hope, charity, prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance — as foundations for authentic Christian leadership. This event is designed for young men, ages 14-49, to help you discern a vocation to the priesthood. It is an opportunity to meet many priests from our Diocese, hear their discernment stories, and learn about the priesthood. We’ll also celebrate Mass and spend time in prayer and adoration. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. There is no cost.

Mercy of God Prayer Center will offer the Receiving Inner Healing Day Retreat Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the parish hall at St. Mary Parish in Caldwell. Jesus came to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually: helping the blind see, helping the lame walk, restoring the dead to life. Many don't realize that Jesus' healing mission continues today in the Catholic Church. Deacons Dan Lupo and Rod Reyna -- healing prayer ministers from Mercy of God Prayer Center in Austin -- will explain the Scriptural roots of Jesus' healing mission, review current Catholic-based efforts to continue that mission, and demonstrate the practice of healing prayer. The day will also include Adoration, prayer, and testimony. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Donation is $45.
