St. Joseph Parish in Bryan hosts a Holy Hour for Vocations on the first Thursday of each month following the 6 p.m. Mass. All are welcome!

Austin Vocations | Andrew Dinners are evenings of prayer, group sharing, and dinner with priests and seminarians in a local parish setting. This event is for young men ages 14-18 (optional – parents may attend).

Father Kevin Rai leads Marian Mornings on first Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Elizabeth Parish in Pflugerville. The morning includes Mass, a teaching, prayer time, silence and time for the sacrament of reconciliation.

Over the years, Black Catholics have set aside a day to reflect on the pastoral needs of people from throughout the African diaspora. Continuing that tradition, Catholics of all cultures are cordially invited to participate in this annual Day of Reflection with the Black Apostolate.

St. John Neumann Parish in Austin hosts a Mass for Vocations at 8:45 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

St. Mary Church of the Assumption in Waco hosts a Mass and Holy Hour for Vocations on the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. All are welcome!

The Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting meets quarterly to assess the needs of our Catholic Scouting population and to plan age-appropriate events to foster a deeper appreciation of our faith. In addition, the committee sponsors adult training for religious emblem counselor roles. If you have a topic that you think needs to be addressed or would like to attend, please contact DCCS chair, Stephen Harris.

St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Austin hosts a Filipino Mass on the first Saturday of the month at 4 p.m. Fellowship follows the Mass at the Parish Activity Center. All are invited to bring a dish to share. Come and join us and meet your kababayan!

St. John the Evangelist Parish in Marble Falls will host Healing, Hope & the Love of Christ on Nov. 10. Confessions will be available at 5:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m., followed by a brief personal witness, an opportunity to venerate a first-class relic of the True Cross of Jesus Christ, and individual prayer with trained prayer teams in both English and Spanish. All are welcome!

St. John Vianney Parish in Round Rock presents David Kauffman in concert Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. David Kauffman is a Catholic songwriter, recording artist, and composer of many ACTS retreat songs. As technology and AI rapidly transform our world, how do we ensure that innovation remains grounded in human dignity and the common good? This talk introduces the Catholic tradition of Integral Human Development as a practical framework for navigating the ethical, social, and human challenges of our increasingly interconnected digital age. Kyle Ballarta is a technologist, venture capitalist, and scholar exploring the convergence of technology, faith, and ethics. He is a St. Edward’s alumnus, a member of the St. Edward’s Board of Trustees, and a Knight of Magistral Grace in the Order of Malta Western Association.

Nov. 21: The parish council of Catholic women at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Brenham will host its annual Fall Bazaar from 9 a.m. to noon in the Parish Activity Center (PAC). There will be baked goods, canned goods and crafts for sale. All are welcome!
